Ott Tänak wins Arctic Rally Finland
Ott Tänak (Hyundai) has won the second WRC rally of the season driven on the roads of northern Finland this weekend. The Estonian finished 17.5 seconds ahead of Finn Kalle Rovanperä (Toyota) who now has the most points and 19.8 seconds ahead of Hyundai stablemate Thierry Neuville.
Ott Tänak and copilot Martin Järveoja won half of the ten special stages, leading the rally from start to finish, to arrive at Tänak's 14th WRC victory overall and the second behind the wheel of Hyundai.
While Tänak won neither of Sunday's stages, the Estonian duo did enough to secure victory. Rovanperä won the power stage, followed by Breen, Neuville, Tänak and Ogier.
The final results of the rally: 1. Tänak 2:03:49.6, 2. Rovanperä +17.5, 3. Neuville +19.8, 4. Breen +52.6, 5. Evans +1:01.5, 6. Katsuta +1:37.8, 7. Solberg +1:39.0, 8. Suninen +2:09.0, 9. Greensmith +3:39.4.
