More than a hundred British and Danish military personnel currently serving as part of the NATO battle group in Tapa marched across the sea ice from the Estonian mainland to the island of Muhu on Thursday. They will participate in a training exercise on the island.
The training exercise is taking place close to the Estonian Defence Forces' radar post on Muhu last two days. It involves allied personnel, including British, Danish, and French troops, as well as members of the Defence League and the Estonian Air Force.
Italian Eurofighter jets out of the Ämari air base will also participate, the EDF reported on Thursday.
