Renovation planning work starts at Narva's Aleksander Church

State real estate body Riigi Kinnisvara AS will begin to develop projects for renovation works at Narva Alexander Church but spokespeople for the company say it is too early to mark the final date of construction.
Mariliis Sepper, communications manager at Riigi Kinnisvara AS, told ERR on Wednesday that the renovation works will last until at least summer of 2021, with the project costing over €200,000.
Sepper said: "When the design process is finished, a construction procurement will be created and that is when construction will start."
She added that it is not yet decided if the procurement will be made immediately after designs are ready and it is even too early to say when construction will exactly begin.
A 500-seat concert hall is planned for the church, along with renovations to the tower and surrounding areas.
