Minister appoints new members to Nordic Aviation Group supervisory board
Minister of Economic Affairs and Infrastructure Kadri Simson (Center) has appointed Taavo Linnamägi, Jaanus Jakimenko and Hannes Sarapuu to the supervisory board of state-owned airline AS Nordic Aviation Group.
Simson made the appointments based on suggestions made by the nomination committee and Minister of Finance Sven Sester (IRL).
Toomas Haidak and Katrin Rasmann have been recalled from Nordica's supervisory board while Peeter Tohver will continue as a supervisory board member.
The powers of the supervisory board members will last for three years. The remuneration of a member of the supervisory board is €750 per month while remuneration of the chairman of the board is €1,500 per month.
Linnamägi is head of the Aviation and Maritime Depatment of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications, while Jakimenko is rector of the Estonian Aviation Academy. Sarapuu is the longtime head of bus operator Lux Express but is set to leave the position in the fall.
Tohver is a partner in the business and management consulting company Velstrom Vallner Tohver. He has previously headed AS Mainor.
