Construction of Tartu's Kalda tee Lidl store to be finished next summer

Nordecon Betoon's construction of German discount store Lidl in Tartu will cost €3 million and will be finished in July, 2021.
Nordecon Betoon reached an agreement with Lidl Eesti on an employment contract which will see a Lidl store built at Kalda tee 29, Tartu.
The store building will have one floor and a surface area of 2,300 square meters.
Lidl is currently looking for employees for its stores in Tallinn, Tartu, Pärnu, Narva and Jõhvi. Before employees can start working, they must pass training period which could last for months.
Construction is also underway on plots belonging to Lidl in the Lasnamäe district of Tallinn, on Tähesaju tee, and on the corner of Linnu tee and Sõpruse puiestee in the Kristiine district of the capital.
Last year, according to the company's annual report, the store chain made investments in long-term assets in Estonia to the amount of €21.5 million. The company has not yet submitted data from last year.
