In honor of the Estonian centennial, a hike was organized in Aegviidu on Sunday in which President Kersti Kaljulaid and former President Arnold Rüütel also took part.
This year's President's Hike, the 15th, was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Estonia, and among the hikers on Sunday were both Kaljulaid and Rüütel.
Participants had the option of either cross-country skiing or hiking the ten-kilometer trail, which ran from Aegviidu via Nelijärve to Jäneda.
