Estonia Set to Pick First 5 Eurovision Contenders
The first semifinal round of the Eesti Laul, Estonia's national competition to determine its entry in this year's Eurovision Song Contest, will be held in the ETV studios Saturday night, February 18.
Of the ten competitors participating in the round, five will be tapped to go through to the March 3 final. There they will vie with the second semifinal round winners for a shot at the number one spot and a ticket to the big event in Baku this May.
The 20 Eesti Laul semifinalists were skimmed off from a total of 159 entries submitted late last year.
The show begins at 21:35 local time (GMT +2 hours), with results at approximately 22:45.
