25 explosives disarmed by EOD teams in Saaremaa on Monday

On Monday, Explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) teams from the Rescue Board rendered a total of 25 pieces of war-era ordnance harmless on Saaremaa.
Spokespeople for the rescue center for West Estonia told BNS that 12 mortar mines and two hand grenades found in the course of forestry work in the Imara village were disarmed, as well as nine hand grenades and one mortar mine found in Üüdibe village.
The EOD teams also neutralized a shell found in the village of Koisi in Järva County.
