Army conscripts in training ground truck accident

A group of Estonian Defense Forces (EDF) conscripts were involved in a road traffic accident on Wednesday at the Central Training Ground (Keskpolügoon) in Kuusalu, Harju County, after the military truck they were traveling in left the road and plunged into a ditch. Noone was seriously hurt.
The EDF announced the accident took place on Wednesday evening at the Central Training Ground in Kuusalu. The truck was being driven by a conscript, it is reported, and involved 33 EDF recruits.
According to initial information, the truck left the road and rolled over into a ditch. A total of 33 EDF members were in the vechile, but no one was seriously injured in the accident.
18 conscripts were taken to the hospital for check-ups, and are now back in service and continuing their training. Relatives have been informed.
