Jüri Vips reaches podium twice at Circuit Paul Ricard
Estonian driver Jüri Vips came third twice during the second round of the Formula Regional European Championship at the Circuit Paul Ricard in France.
Vips (20) started from second place on the grid but lost two places to finish in fourth.
In the second race, Vips gained a place to finish third.
Vips (KIC Motorsport) started from fifth place in the Sunday race and while he held second for a time was forced to settle for third at the finish line.
Arthur Leclerc won the first and third races, with his teammate Brazilian Gianluca Petecof winning race number two.
Vips is now fifth in the driver's championship (62 points), with Petecof leading on 116 points after six races.
The next round of the Formula Regional European Championship will be driven in Austria on September 11-13.
