Opera council meet to discuss accusations made against director
The Council of the Estonian National Opera met on Thursday to discuss the report into the working environment of the National Opera and its problems. The report deals with director Aivar Mäe's behavior and accusations made by employees.
On June 26, the police initiated proceedings after allegations of sexual harassment were made in the media against Mäe.
The Estonian Council opened an enquiry lead by a trustee to who all current and former employees of the National Opera could turn, and who helped to compile an overview of the case.
