German Minister of Foreign Affairs Sigmar Gabriel will be in Estonia on a working visit this Wednesday.
While in Estonia, Gabriel will meet with Prime Minister Jüri Ratas and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sven Mikser.
The purpose of the one-day visit is to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries as well as discuss topical EU-related issues, the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced.
The two foreign ministers will also give a joint press conference.
Gabriel was scheduled to visit Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania last week, however the visit was postponed. According to diplomatic sources, the original visit was canceled for health reasons on the German minister's part.
