Vassiljev Still Without Club Offer

Konstantin Vassiljev, the Estonian midfielder who played a crucial role in securing Estonia's 3-1 victory over Serbia in last month's Euro qualifier, has said that he has yet to find a club to move to after his current contract with Slovenian PrvaLiga team NK Nafta Lendava runs out.
"In summer my contract with Nafta runs out, and now we're actively looking for a more interesting option. However, at the moment, no concrete offers have been made," Vassiljev said in a broadcast interview.
The 26-year-old footballer had earlier announced his desire to leave Nafta, which is experiencing financial difficulties, rus.err.ee reported. Given the situation, it would be more advantageous for Nafta to sell Vassiljev off this winter rather than having to let him go for free once his contract expires.
Vassiljev has been playing for Nafta since 2008.
