Klavan helps keep clean sheet, Cagliari winless in last four matches

Ragnar Klavan, captain of the Estonian men's national football team, helped keep his Serie A side Cagliari Calcio's goal untouched in Sunday's match against Lecce, but the struggling Cagliari was not able to score themselves. The team now sits at 11th and has not won once in their last four matches, scoring just one goal in that time.
The match, played in Cagliari, saw ten shots on goal, with the host team's goalkeeper Alessio Cragno making multiple great saves to keep his team's goal clean.
This is the second consecutive match for Cagliari ending in a 0:0 draw, they were also not able to score in the match before. They have finished with three draws and a loss in their last four matches.
Cagliari started the season well, notching 8 victories in their first 14 matches, but have since slowed down considerably and now stand 11th in the standings with 41 points, 11 points shy of a Europa League qualification spot.
Cagliari's next match will be against Sampdoria on Wednesday, July 15, at 8:30 p.m. Estonian time.
