After their 1-5 Euro 2024 play-off defeat to Poland, the Estonian squad have been at a training camp in Austria, and are looking to bounce back with a more positive result this time out.

28.02.24 NEWS ... The Estonian women's national football team beat Hong Kong 1-0 on Tuesday in the final match of a friendly tournament in Turkey. Co-head coach Anastassia Morkovkina was satisfied with the team's performances in the competition and is now looking ahead to the Euro 2025 qualifiers.
26.02.24 NEWS ... Flora Tallinn have won this year's Estonian Super Cup after surviving a dramatic late comeback from Narva Trans. For the second Super Cup final in a row, Meistriliiga champions Flora threw away a two-goal first half lead. This year however, they held their nerve to claim the trophy after a penalty shootout.

06.01.24 NEWS ... Pre-season preparation for teams in Estonian Mesitriliiga and Esiliiga will start a bit differently this year. Instead of the usual Winter Tournament, this January and February, Estonian clubs will be taking part in the Livonian Winter League for the first time, where they will compete against top sides from neighboring Latvia.

The result means Estonia miss out on a place in the play-offs, which would have given them a chance to gain promotion to League B for the next edition of the Nations League.

27.11.23 NEWS ... FC Flora Tallinn, who secured their sixth consecutive Estonian women's championship (Naiste Meistriliiga) title in mid-October, dropped points for the first time in the entire season after being held to a 2-2 draw by Estonian Cup holders Saku Sporting on the final day.

06.11.23 NEWS ... Sunday's top-of-the-table Estonian Meistriliiga clash between Tallinn sides FCI Levadia and FC Flora was watched with interest by a group of Ukrainian soldiers. The soldiers, who are training in Estonia, were invited to the stadium for the game by Levadia's management.

According to Estonian Minister of Defense Hanno Pevkur (Reform), the Estonian Football Association's (EJL) announcement that Estonia would not play in international competitions with Russia's U-17 teams did not go far enough. In Pevkur's view, the EJL should also decide that Estonia will not participate in, or host, any tournament involving Russia.

28.03.23 NEWS ... The Estonian men's national football team lost 2-1 away to Austria on Monday in the opening game of their Euro 2024 qualifying campaign. It took a late Michael Gregoritsch to seal the three points for Austria, who were forced to come from behind after Rauno Sappinen had given Estonia a 25th minute lead.
